QUALIFICATIONS
Chung Ping completed his tertiary education in Sydney, Australia and graduated with double degrees, a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws, from the University of Sydney, Australia. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia as a Barrister-at-Law in 1990. He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1991.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Chung Ping has been recognized as one of the most highly recommended Asia-Pacific-focused lawyers in the practice area of Banking for three (3) successive years by Asialaw in its 2008, 2009 & 2010 Asialaw Leading Lawyers survey. Within the Islamic finance space, he was regarded by the Islamic Finance News in its inaugural 2009 IFN Leading Lawyers survey as a Leading Lawyer in the field of Islamic Project Finance. He has also been acknowledged by the Asian Legal Business as one of “ALB Hot 100: The Hottest Lawyers of 2008”.
