QUALIFICATIONS
Harsnolina completed her tertiary education in the United Kingdom, and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of East Anglia, Norwich. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in August 1999.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Harsnolina’s track record of transactions include advising one of the nation’s leading telecommunications providers in a multi billion Ringgit asset backed Sukuk Ijarah issuance in a deal which created a significant and unique class of Islamic Private Debt Securities that incorporated the features of both a fixed income instrument, as well as an investment in a portfolio of high quality property assets.
Harsnolina was also part of the legal team which represented the syndicated lenders in refinancing a multibillion Ringgit bridging loan arising from the privatisation of Malaysia’s largest mobile operator. The refinancing exercise, involving the issuance of senior & junior Islamic Sukuk bonds as well as the acceptance of a US Dollar denominated conventional term loan, was the largest local currency corporate bond deal in Asia in 2007.
