QUALIFICATIONS
Natalie completed her tertiary education in the United Kingdom and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Bristol, England. She was admitted as an Utter Barrister of the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, London, having been called to the Bar of England & Wales, in 1995. She obtained her Master of Laws degree (Corporate and Commercial Law) from King’s College, London in 1996. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1997.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Natalie’s track record of transactions include co-advising the Principal Advisor for the offering, Managing Underwriter for the retail offer and Joint Bookrunner for the institutional offering in relation to the establishment of the AmanahRaya REIT, which was the first Government linked REIT in Malaysia. She was also part of the legal team that advised in a merger between two (2) public listed corporations of their oil palm plantation businesses, which included a share exchange and a scheme of arrangement between one of the corporations and its shareholders pursuant to Section 176 of the Companies Act, 1965.
Besides being an active practitioner, Natalie has also presented papers and conducted seminars on current legal topics of interest, such as “Directors’ Duties and Responsibilities”, “IP Law and Strategy in Malaysia” and “Drafting Commercial
